Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide knowledge and education that promotes child development both physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively through active exploration, discovery, process, and manipulation using the environment that surrounds them. Our classrooms provide students with a diverse population. All of our full time staff are trained to support your child as they learn and grow. Each staff member is CPR and First Aid certified.

But you’ll also want to offer your child chances to explore. That means close supervision but with opportunities to enjoy different environments. From an art project to a trip to a museum, parents can give kids the space and freedom to investigate, which is an important part of helping them grow at A Better Choice Childcare Center.

Ages 6w-1.0
Emphasizes focus fine motor skills development, language development, becoming stronger, learning to crawl and walk
Ages 1.5-2.5
During these years we focus on developing social and emotional, language and communication, cognitive development and physical development through kick ball and other activities. Your child should be able to complete simple tasks, single alphabets, and other songs.
Ages 2-3.5
Children begin to learn how to recognize their letters, shapes, colors and numbers. Learning is directed towards more independence. At this age children will learn to complete puzzles, art work and engage in group activities.
Ages 3-4.5
Emphasizes will be placed on English, reading, math and science. Site words will be introduced along with simple math addition and subtraction. Children will be helped to gain more independence with self care and learning. Preparation for kindergarten.
